Banked Time

Overtime or extra hours saved as a balance to be taken later as paid time off.

Banked time is accumulated extra hours (overtime, travel) stored as a balance the employee can later use as leave — closely related to TOIL. A multiplier may apply.

Banking time needs approval and tracking so the balance is fair, accurate, and doesn't accumulate forever.

Example: An employee banks 6 hours after working a long day, then uses it for an early finish later.

In Orvella: Orvella logs banked time with a multiplier, routes it for approval, and converts it to a usable balance.
