Activity Rate (Activity %)

The share of a tracked interval with keyboard or mouse activity, shown as a percentage.

Activity rate (or activity percentage) summarizes how engaged a person was during a tracked period by measuring intervals with input versus those without. It's an indicator, not a verdict — some work (calls, reading, design review) is low-input.

Used fairly and transparently, activity rate helps spot patterns rather than police individuals.

Example: An interval with input in 43 of 60 seconds might show around a 70% activity rate.

In Orvella: Orvella Time displays an activity meter with keyboard and mouse counts per screenshot interval.
